COVID-19 on P.E.I.: What's happening Tuesday, Sept. 1

The province has announced there will be a further easing ofrestrictions on Oct. 1, as P.E.I. marks no current active COVID-19 cases on the Island as of Tuesday.

Starting Thursday, Islanders testing negative for COVID-19 will be able togettheir results online.

A total of 18 physicians have signed on to practise on the Island in 2020, according to an update fromHealth PEI.

'Parents and students are saying, you know, for those sports that start right away in the fall it would be really nice if we could do inter-school sports,' Education Minister Brad Trivers says.
