100s of children march across P.E.I. to mark National Child Day

Hundreds of young children marched through downtown Charlottetown and several other Island communities Monday to mark National Child Day.

National Child Day is held every year to mark the anniversary of the United Nations officially recognizing children's rights.

It is also a chance to teach kids about their rights and responsibilities.

In Charlottetown, children marched through the downtown, past city hall and to Province House.
