Charlottetown road rage investigated by police

A driver says he was cut off by a motorcycle on Saturday afternoon and then punched and spat on by the driver at a stop on the arterial highway near Malpeque Road. Charlottetown police are investigating.

Charlottetown police are investigating an alleged case of road rage and assault on the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, police reportthey received a complaint from a man who said he was cut off by a motorcycle. The mandrivingthe motorcycleallegedly parked it, then proceeded topunchand spitonthe driver.

The assault allegedly occurred at a stop on the bypass highway near Malpeque Road.
