3 Regina homicide victims identified

Police have confirmed the identies of three victims of a multiple homicide in Regina.

Police have confirmed the identies of three victims of a multiple homicide in Regina.

The three are Gray Nay Htoo, a 31-year-old man; Maw Maw, a 28-year-old woman; and Seven June Htoo, a three-year-old boy.

Police said the family's next of kin have been notified. CBC News has reported the family arrivedin Regina as refugees from Burma, also known as Myanmar.

Their decomposing bodies were discovered Friday afternoon in a townhouse at 323 Oakview Dr. Police said they had been in the residence for several days before neighbours, concerned about odours, had the property manager check on the unit.

Police said that when the property manager looked in on the townhouse and found the bodies, he immediately called police.

On Tuesday, Regina's chief of police said investigators believed the three were victims of a multiple homicide.

Troy Hagendid not release any additional information on the case. Hagen previously told reporters that the victims had not been shot.
