Police say woman's death suspicious after body found in Saskatoon apartment

Saskatoon police say they discovered a bodyin an apartment Friday afternoon and the woman's deathis considered suspicious.

At around 4:30 p.m. CST, officers were called to the 200 block of Avenue V South to perform a wellness check on a person.

Once inside, they found the dead woman.

TheMajor Crimes Unit isinvestigating.

An autopsy is scheduled for next week, at which point an update will be provided.
