CN is investigating a train derailment near Melfort, Sask., in which10 grain cars went off the rails.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. CST just southwest of the city, near the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 41A.

There were no injuries and no hazardous materials or dangerous goods were involved.

Canadian National Railways have crews on scene removing the damaged cars and repairing the line, MelfortRCMP said.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation by CN.

Police said nothing criminal in nature is suspected.
