Saeed Ahmad Warraich, 49, the man who died in a head-on crash on Regina's Ring Road, was the father of three-year-old twin boys.

His brother-in-law, Imran Zaka, said Warraich wason the busy Regina thoroughfare Friday driving home, with Warraich's father-in-law, following afternoon prayers at the Madni Mosque.

"He was coming to home [and] in five minutes he was gone," Zaka said. "My father is still in General Hospital but is out of critical condition."

Police said Warraich died at the scene at the scene of the crash, which happened shortly after 4 p.m. CST near the McDonald Street exist.

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy in the case. They say the teen was driving the vehicle that left the east bound lanes of the Ring Road, crossed a centre divide, and crashed into Warraich westbound car.

The teen is facing six charges including dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death. There were three passengers in the car the teen was driving.

Warraich's family said they would like to see a fence on the Ring Road.

For now, they are focused on remembering a loved one.

"He will be with us the rest of our life and the hereafter as well," Zaka said. "So he's an excellent man, the best man in the world."

Warraich arrived in Canada in 2011.

"My nephews are three years-old only," Zaka said. "So a long long life is ahead of them without any father."

Zaka is planning to travel with Warraich's body to Pakistan.
