Collision near Langham leaves 2 dead, 2 injured

A man and woman are dead in an early morning collision on Highway 16 near Langham. Two others are in hospital with unknown injuries.

Two people are dead and two injured after an early morning collision near Langham, Sask.

A westbound truck travelling in the eastbound lane struck a car onHighway 16 around 1:30 a.m. CST on Monday, police said.

Langhamis about 30kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.

The man driving the car and a woman passenger in the carwere pronounced dead at the scene.

Another woman who was a passenger inthe car was injured and taken to hospital. The 27-year-oldman who was driving the truck was also injured and taken to hospital.

Police do not know yet whether alcohol was a factor.

The investigation continues.
