Meet the next 5 Future 40 winners

CBC Saskatchewan is rolling out this year's Future 40 winners.

All week long, we've introduced you to some of the brightest young leaders in the province.

Now, here are your Thursday morning Future 40 winners.

PaulDhillon

Age:34

Paul is afamily physician working for the Saskatchewan Medical Association and providing much-needed relief services for rural doctors.His work takes him to a variety of small towns, where he stands in for rural physicians who need time off for family reasons,holidaysor to continue their medical education.

Paul is also a writer and his experiences working with rural families and patients have inspired his third book, which is slated for publication on the University of Regina press.

In January, Paul travelled to Sierra Leone to help treat ebola patients with an international team of doctors. He has just recently come out of quarantine from that trip.

Dave Dalton

Age: 28

Dave is a high school math and science teacher in the northern village of le--la-Crosse.He has introduced robotics to the students through a computer science course androbotics team. Every year, Davetakes the team to acompetition in Saskatoon.This year, he is taking a groupto a Skills Canada competition, which is a first for the school.

Dave always strives to make himself available to students and the school community as a mentor and a friend.

Jami Young

Age:39

Jami is the founding volunteer chair of Creative Kids Saskatoon, a local arm of a charitable organization that provides funding for underprivileged children and youth to participate in arts and cultural activities.In this role, Jami has helped significantly increase the program'simpact across Saskatoon. She has also served on the board of directors for the Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-Op since 2011.

In addition to this non-profit work, Jamiis a professional writer, entrepreneur, business strategist and women's leadership coach. She hasmore than a decade of experience in marketing, communications and resource development across a variety of sectors including business, health and the arts.

Tim Rogers

Age:37

Tim is the president and part owner of Untie Enterprises, which operates the Lancaster Taphouse and the soon-to-open Capitol Jazz Club & Tapas Bar in Regina.Tim and his partners create unique restaurants that incorporate quality food creations,arelaxing atmosphere, engaging events, and both local and international ingredients.

The Lancaster is a big supporter of the arts with free live shows,TED talks and more. Meanwhile, the Capitol is setto bring a new flavour and add to the resurgence in the heart of downtown Regina.

Untie Enterprises has also helped raise funds and awareness for organizations including Special Olypmpics Saskatchewan and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Kent Lindgren

Age:31

Kent works for theBattlefords Family Health Centreas the HIV project coordinator. His job is to coordinate education and awareness services to address HIV in First Nations communities.Kent is also part of the Saskatchewan Indigenous Strategy on HIV and AIDS and other programs dedicated to this critical issue.

Kent is committed to North Battleford and the province as a volunteer. His roles and responsibilities includeboard chair for theBattleford's Concern for Youth non-profit organization as well asboard member and volunteer with the Battlefords branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
