Police ask for tips on missing teen

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a teen who has been missing for more than seven months.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Punnichy teenwho has been missing formore than seven months.

Cody Wolfe was last seen at his grandmother's home on the Muskowekwan First Nationon April 29 at about 10:30 p.m. CST.

After leaving his grandmother's house, the 17-year-old is said to have started walking toward another residence abouteight kilometres away.

Police believe that Wolfe never made it to the second residencethat night.

No other sightings of the teen have been reported. Police are asking the public to check for anything that seems unusual around outbuildings, brush and other remote places where Wolfe was last seen.

Wolfe is described asfive-foot-seven, 110 pounds, and of First Nations ancestry. He has shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes and a scar between his nose and upper lip.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue sweater, blue jeans and white running shoes.

In a news release issued Monday, the RCMP asks anyone with information about Wolfe's disappearanceto contact the Punnichy RCMP at 306-835-5200 or anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
