Family offers $100K reward as RCMP search for missing 15-year-old boy from Regina

The family of a missing 15-year-old from Regina is now offering a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his whereabouts.

The family of a missing 15-year-old from Regina is now offering a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his whereabouts.

Jaxon MacDonald was last seen leaving a home in Jubilee subdivision of Duck Mountain Provincial Parkon foot at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

He wasbelieved to be heading to a nearby residence in the same subdivision, located near the Saskatchewan and Manitoba border.

MacDonald is described as being five feet six inches with a slim build. He has brown hair and blue eyesand was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Adidas pants and black running shoes.

The RCMP said that temperatures dropped below 10C overnight on Sunday and that Jaxon was not dressed appropriately for the weather when he was last seen.

The Mounties say MacDonald's family isconcerned for his well-being.

In a separate message distributed to media, MacDonald's family said they are offering a $100,000 rewardfor any information leading to his whereabouts.

Door-to-door inquiries have continued, but RCMP say many of the properties in the park are seasonal.

Residents of the Jubileesubdivision who would like police to check their property to confirm Jaxon is not there are asked to contact the Kamsack RCMP at 306-542-5560.

Since Sunday, approximately 100 people includingthe RCMP, members of the Mounties'dog unit, civil air search and rescue, volunteer search and rescue, the Kamsack Fire Departmentand members of the public have assisted in the search.

Anyone with information about MacDonald'swhereabouts is asked to contact Kamsack RCMP or Saskatchewan RCMP.
