Saskatchewan photographers thankful for stunning skies

Saskatchewan stargazing photographers shared their dazzling aurora shots with CBC.

If you're a stargazing photographer, the aurora borealis is a phenomenon to be grateful for

It was another alluring week for starstruckcreativesin Saskatchewan.

David Fannon and his daughter, Kaitie, wentout with a camera and captured clear and radiant images of the northern lights dancing in the province's north. Kaitie,11, capturedthe sky and its fluid reflection nearthe Wapiti Valley bridge, near Nipawin, Sask.

The pair's photos were taken on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

This same night, photographerDunja Gaco was staged eastof Saskatoon, along the South Saskatchewan River where he photographed the effervescent aurora.
