Sask. universities ranked in international assessment

Saskatchewan universities have been rated on an international ranking of 800 post-secondary institutions, worldwide.

Saskatchewan universities have been rated on an international ranking of 800 post-secondary institutions, worldwide.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2015-2016 looks at teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

The University of Saskatchewan ranked approximately 483.

The University of Regina ranked approximately 578, just ahead of the University of Salamanca.

The top university this year is the California Institute of Technology, followed by the Britain's Oxford University.

The top Canadian university is the University of Toronto, which was in19th place.
