Snowbusters return: Regina residents asked to help neighbours with shovelling

After being cancelled last year due to mild weather, the Regina Snowbuster campaign is back.

'Pay it forward' shovels to be released

Regina people who clear ice and snow from their neighbours' walks can win a snowblower, compliments of the city. (CBC)

After being cancelled last year due to mild weather, the ReginaSnowbustercampaign is back.

Thecampaign encourages peopleto help neighbours shovel their sidewalks.

Peoplecan nominate their neighbours for prizes and recognition from the mayor.

The grand prize is a newsnowblower.

The city will also be distributing what it calls "pay it forward"Snowbustershovels. People can use them, then leave them in the snow for the next neighbour to find.
