Flash mob rallies in Saskatoon to oppose STC cuts

The protesters opposed the sale of STC and the potential privatization of former STC bus routes in the province.

On Thursday evening close to 100protestors showed up to the STC Bus Depot in Saskatoon to oppose the provincial government's decision to defund the service.

Chants of "for a nickel a day, the bus can stay," and "no ifs, nobuts, no transportation cuts," were heard throughout the demonstration. Protesters also opposed the potential privatizationof STC routes.
