Worker electrocuted on farm in west-central Sask.

A 23-year-old worker is dead after being electrocuted while installing grain bins near Coleville, Sask.

A 23-year-old worker is dead after being electrocuted while installing grain bins nearColeville, Sask.

The victim is Kelly Bruce Rolston, of Mayview, Sask., who had been working for a Shellbrook construction company.

The accident happened on a farm Monday at around 4:30 p.m. CST, the RCMP said.

The metal bins were being moved by a crane that came into contact with an overhead power line.

Rolston had been helping move the bins from the ground and was electrocuted.

Kerrobert Fire Rescue and EMS responded to the scene, but could not revive him.

An investigation into the accident has been handed over to the province's Occupational Health and Safety branch, the RCMP said.

Coleville is in west-central Saskatchewan, about 212 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon.
