Women honoured at FSIN's Spirit of our Nations powwow

Music and dance filled Saskatoon's SaskTel Centre this weekend as people gathered for the Spirit of our Nations cultural celebration and powwow.

The theme of this year's event, put on by the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations, was protecting, honouring and respecting our women.

The powwow began Friday night with the grand entry and the blanket dance fundraiser. It continued throughout the weekend, ending on Sunday.
