Police release victim's name in Saskatoon's 10th homicide of year

Saskatoon police have released the name of Saskatoon's tenth homicide victim of 2016.

Dylan Edward Robert Phillips, 26, died of a gunshot wound last week at a home in the Mayfair neighbourhood.

Last Friday, police were called to a house on the 1400 block of Avenue G N. at around 10:50 p.m. CST. They said Phillips had been assaulted and died at the scene.

Detectives with the Major Crime Unit continue to investigate.
