Very dry conditions have led the Rural Municipality of Corman Park to bring in a fire ban.

Multiple fires have broken out across the province over the past week. A lack of snow has meant grass fires can quickly get out of control.

Now, the rural municipality that rings the city of Saskatoon has put a stop to any controlled burns of grassy areas until further notice.

The dry season has made for prime weather for grass fires to get out of control.

Many communities are blaming the extremely dry conditions on a lack of snow this winter.
