Pedestrian from Saskatoon dead after getting hit by semi-trailer on Highway 7

A 37-year-old man is dead after being hit by semi-trailer truck on Highway 7 in Saskatoon.

The crash happened Saturday in the early morning hours

A 37-year-old man is deadafter being hit by a semi-trailer truck Saturday.

RCMP in Warman, Sask., say officers responded to a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Highway 7, east of Range Road 3064, around 4:20 a.m.

They found that a 37-year-old man from Saskatoon had been hit by a semi-truck travelling north on the highway. He was taken to hospital, but died of his injuries.

The area where the accident happened has been reopened to the public.

RCMP and the office of the provincial coroner continue to investigate.
