Fans, cosplayers, superheroes nerd out at Saskatoon's comic expo

If you're looking to findWilliam Shatner, the Dude, Gustavo Fring, the voice of Super Mario and Spiderman all in one spot, then look no further than Saskatoon's Comic and Entertainment Expo.

An exhibition that celebrates all thingscomics,cosplay, pop culture,sci-fi, horror, cartoons andsuperheroes, the yearly event is onto its final day, wrapping up at 5p.m. CST.

When Shatner took the stage for a sit-down chat with fans on Sunday afternoon, he drew a raucous applause.

Fans were quite enamoured with Shatner, no matter what the topic of conversation was.

Jeff 'the Dude'Lebowski also made an appearance. Surprisingly, he wasn't bearing a briefcase, a bowling ball or a white Russian.

The yearly event had something for everyone, including replica medieval armour that fans could wear.

There were also a few classic vehicles on scene, including one fans of an older ilk probably have a clearer memory of.

No comic expo would be complete without a reference to Star Wars and Back to the Future.

Professional cosplayer E Town Spidey was also on scene, slinging webs and scampering among fans.

Fans of actorGiancarlo Esposito, known for his role as business tycoon and crystal methentrepreneurGustavo Fring inBreaking Bad, had a chance to pose with the actor.

Along with Shatner and Esposito, other expo headliners included actor Billy Boyd, Super Mario's voice actorCharles Martinet, actress Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica and Green Lantern and others.
