Man sent to hospital with serious, life threatening injuries in early morning stabbing

Saskatoon police are looking for two suspects believed to be involved in a stabbing that sent a 44-year-old man to hospital early Tuesday morning.

Around 3:15 a.m. CST,police were flagged down by a person near25 StreetE. and 2ndAvenueN.

Police were told a man had been stabbed and were directed to the victim, in an alley off of 26th Street, between 3rdand 4th Avenues.

The 44-year-old man hadmultiple stab wounds. He was transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, according to a news release issued on Tuesday.

The suspects are believed to be in their early twenties according to Saskatoon Police Service.

One was wearing black pants, white runners and a red sweater with a grey jacket. The second suspect was described as wearing all black with white stripes on the side, carrying a black backpack.

Police saidthe victim and the suspects were known to each other.
