If you're driving to Grandma's house this weekend for Thanksgiving, you might want to slow down.

Saskatoon police are taking part in a nation-wide traffic blitz named 'Operation Impact" during the Thanksgiving Daylong weekend.

Police will be looking for drunk drivers, seat belt use and anything else that contributes to distracted or aggressive driving.

The Saskatoon Police Service has been involved in Operation Impact for many years.

The blitz is designed to keep traffic safety in the forefront of drivers' minds as they hit the highway.
