Police say Saskatoon man stabbed inside his home by unknown assailant

Police in Saskatoon are looking into a stabbing that took place in a man's home in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood Tuesday afternoon.

Saskatoon policeare investigatinga stabbing that took place in a man's home in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood Tuesday afternoon.

A 40-year-old man was sent to hospital after he was stabbed while in his home on the 300 block of Avenue Q South, according to a news release.

The victim told officers he didn't know the assailant, who is described as being in his 20s, six-feet tall and wearing a red zip-up hoodie and a red bandana.

Police said the suspect had tattoos on his hands and possibly his neck.

The victim`s injuries were notnon-life threatening, police said.
