The Who relaunch North American tour

Fans of The Who will still get a chance to see the band in Canada as the band relaunches its tour in late February.

Original tour dates postponed after Roger Daltry became ill with viral meningitis

Fans of The Who will still get a chance to see the band in Canada as the band relaunchesits tour in late February.

Earlier this month, the band postponed the North American fall leg of itsThe Who Hits 50!tour after Roger Daltreycontracted viral meningitis.

But on the band'swebsite,RogerDaltreyis quoted assaying, "I amnowon the mend and feeling a lot better."

Tickets for the originally scheduled shows will be honoured at the new dates.

Canadian dates include:

March 1, Air Canada Centre in Toronto *
April 26, AirCanada Centre in Toronto *
May 4, MTS Centre in Winnipeg, MB
May 6, SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, SK
May 8, Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB
May 10, Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, AB
May 13,Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC

The Whowebsite said tickets for the Toronto Oct.19 show will be honoured on the March 1 date. Tickets for the Dec.1 show will be honoured at the Apr.26 performance.
