Bill Steer a.k.a. Backroads Bill joined us via Skype from Iceland this time around. That's where he'll be for the holidays. He told us about the landscape and the people there and a little bit about the weather conditions as well.

Steer made the trek north to meet upwith his daughter who is studying in Ireland.

Highlights of his trip include the penis museum, a visit withformer Reykjavik mayor Jon Gnarr, Sven the Icelandic horse and the striking barren landscape of Iceland.

Steer said for much of his tour he saw"notrees, no snow, no ice, no people."
