More charges in attempted murder case after incident in Copper Cliff

A 28-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man are facing charges including attempted murder after an altercation in Copper Cliff on Friday night.

Detectives continue to speak to witnesses, collect evidence after man suffers life-threatening injuries

A 28-year-old womanand a31-year-old man are facing charges including attempted murder after an altercation in Copper Cliff on Friday night.

Sudbury police say officers were sent to the scene of a weapons complaint close to 10:30 p.m. on Peter Street.

Police say several people were involved.

A 34-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition.

A 31-year-old manfrom St. Charles has been arrested, and is currently charged with attempted murder and possession of a dangerous weapon.

The28-year-oldwoman was charged with "accessory after the fact attempt murder" and dangerous driving.

Police saydetectivescontinue to speak to witnesses and collect evidence in thematter.
