Daphne Kochar murder unsolved after 9 years

It's been almost a decade since Daphne Kochar was found dead just south of Sudbury and her murder remains a mystery.

It's been almost a decade since Daphne Kochar was found dead justsouth of Sudbury and hermurder remains a mystery.

The 42-year-old mother of three was last seen leaving her home to run errands on Nov. 5, 2005. Her remains were discoveredin the woodsin theEstaire area onTrout Lake Road on Dec. 27,2005.

Police have never named any suspects in the case.

OPP Sergeant Carolle Dionne saidthe investigation is now inactive.

"We're not actively pursuing any suspects,"she said."However, we welcome any new information that could potentially point us to a suspect or to resolve this case."

Anyone with information related to Kochar's murder is being asked to call Crime Stoppers or the OPP directly.
