Dead body discovered in south end of Sudbury: police

Police in Sudbury continue to investigate after the discovery of a dead body behind the Dollarama store on Long Lake Road.

According to Greater Sudbury Police, adeceased person was found on Saturday eveningin a "small bodyof water" off of the parking lot.

The coroner wasnotified of the discovery, and police said "thisremains a coroner's investigation."

On Sunday, police officers searched the area and canvassed a nearby neighbourhood for information.

No information has been released about the identity of the deceased.

A post-mortem exam is scheduled for today.
