Reginald Berard faces 2nd degree murder charge in Sudbury homicide case

A 23-year-old Sudbury man is facing charges, following a homicide earlier this month.

A 23-year-old Sudbury man is facing chargesfollowing a homicide earlier this month.

ReginaldBerardappeared briefly in bail court Monday morning.On Saturday, police arrested andchargedBerardwith second degree murder and breach of probation.

On Nov.3, police were called to a home on Melvin Street to investigate the death of 51-year-old Marcel Raymond Couillard.Police say the victim and accused kneweachother.

Berard isscheduled to appear again in bail court on Thursday.
