Lorne Street solidifies spot on CAA's Worst Road list

Sudbury's Lorne Street has been listed as the third-worst road in the Ontario, climbing up fromseventh place last year.

The Canadian Automobile Association asks residents across the province to vote on a the worst roads in the province for its annual rankings.

Maley Drive also cracked the top 10, sitting at number four.

Timmins had Algonquin Road named twice on the list Algonquin West claimed sixth place, while Algonquin Boulevard ended up tied for ninth with Toronto's Yonge Street.

More than 3,000 roads were nominated from across the province this year.

The CAA says the list is meant to help municipalities determine which street to focus on for upgrades or improvements.

Raymond Chan of CAA South Central Ontario says they look forward to discussing the results of this year's list with elected officials and municipal staff from across the province in the coming months.
