Temiskaming crash leaves 1 dead, 3 injured: OPP

A motorcycle driveris dead after a Highway 11 crash in HarleyTownship on Thursday.

TemiskamingOntario Provincial Police report that the crash between amotorcycle and a pick-up truck happened around 1 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle, 50-year-old Daryl Smith ofEtobicoke, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver of the pick-up truck, 60-year-oldGarry Bennett, and passengersSherronBelanger,54, and Gavin Bennett,16, all from Hudson Township, were treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and released.

Highway 11 was opened in both directions before 8p.m. Thursday,but the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
