Bollywood star Chopra says Toronto 'home away from home'

Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra says that Toronto is like "a home away from home" for her,welcoming her with open arms every time she makes the trip to Canada.

Chopra, a singer and actor who is followed by more thanthree million people on Twitter, told CBC News that she is always flattered by the reception she gets from fans in Toronto.

"I love coming to this city," Chopra said during an interview Saturday.

Chopra has visited the city in the past, attending both the Toronto International Film Festivaland the International Indian Film Academy Awards in 2011.

She was in the city on the weekend to attendAnokhi Magazine's10th anniversaryevent, which was held Saturday night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on the Exhibition grounds.

The night before her Toronto appearance, Chopra visited the Bramalea City Centre.
