Millennials have a thing or two to learn from 74-year-old Toronto Coun. Norm Kelly'sviral success.

"I've tried to identify the focus of my tweets that apparently appeal to people," he said in an interview Wednesday with CBC News. "One is to stir the pot, the other is to tickle the spot, and third is to inform."

"I can say I deliberately would not focus so much on myself as most do on Twitter and instead focus on the city that I've come to know and love very much and that is the city of Toronto and the quirkiness of living in this city."

Earlier this week, Kelly tabled a proposal atthe city's economic development committee toadd three more3D signs that would read: "The 6", "T.O." and "T Dot." around the city. The signswould serve as a complement the "Toronto" sign at Nathan Phillips Square.

From a Twitter war with Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill, paying tribute to a dead raccoonand of course his budding online bromance with hometown hip hop heroDrake, Kelly has won the hearts of thousands of people decades younger than him, picking upmore than 200,000 followers on Twitter.
