Hundreds prepare for Polar Bear Dip in Ontario lakes

Hundreds of people are bracing for a frigid dip into the frosty waters of Ontario's lakes today.

Hundreds of people are bracing for a frigid dip into the frosty waters of Ontario's lakes today.

Brave souls in Oakville, Toronto, Perth and Grand Valley will be taking the plunge in annual New Year's Day polar bear dips.

Organizers are warning people with heart conditions to pass on the plunge, and say kids heading into the water should stay close to adults.
