Toronto's Jurassic Park erupts into sea of blue as Leafs score playoff win

Fans for both teams gathered in Maple Leaf Square also known as Jurassic Park to Raptors fans to cheer on Toronto's playoff contenders.

Leafs win first playoff game since 2013 after nail-biter showdown with Washington Capitals

It was aJurassic night for Toronto sports fans with both the Raptors and Maple Leafs in playoff games on Saturday.

First up were the Raptors back in the playoffs for the fourth year in a row facing off against the Milwaukee Bucks in game one of the first round of the NBA playoffs at the Air Canada Centre.

But after a heartbreaking 97-83 loss, Jurassic Park turned from red to blue as Leafs fans gathered for a nail-biter second game against the Washington Capitals. Fans had their fill as the two games overlapped briefly.

And while it may not have been a home game, the Leafs emerged victorious beating out the Capitals 4-3 in the second overtime period against the team thatbested them 3-2 in their last matchup on Thursday.

Oh, and the Blue Jays brought the goods on Saturday as wellwith a win at home against the Baltimore Orioles in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Toronto FC faced defeat, losing to theColumbus team 2-1 in Ohio.
