Rob Ford crack admission among top 2013 apologies, Time says

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has made Time magazine's list of "Top 10 Apologies" of 2013, slotting into the number 2 position behindcelebrity chef Paula Deenbut ahead ofU.S. President Barack Obama.

In a year-end feature called Top 10 Everything, the magazine cited the embattled mayor for confessing to smoking crack cocaine, as well as apologies for making a vulgar comment about his wife on live television and knocking over a city councillor during a Toronto council meeting.

Ford's troubles have been a popular topic in U.S. media, including on news programs, morning shows and with late-night comedians.

• Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis (insulting jurors).
• News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch (political cartoon in the Sunday Times).
