Toronto Blue Jays fans celebrating Game 4 victory take over social media

Toronto Blue Jays fans took over social media Mondaynight, celebrating an electric win against the Texas Rangers thattiesup theAmerican LeagueDivision Series and brings the team back home for Game 5.

Ticket holders already started coming up with excuses to leave work early Wednesday to catch the last game of this first-roundplayoff series, which will begin at 4 p.m. ET.

The Jays took control early on in Monday's game, with superstar Josh Donaldsonknocking out a two-run homer in the first inning. Not to be outdone, Chris Colabello followed with another home run, pushing the score to 3-0 in the team'sfirst round at bat.

The excitement seems to haveprompted many Thanksgiving diners to pull up a platein front of the TV, greasy fingers sending out tweets about the action.

As one Jays fan pointed out, it made for a very patriotic Thanksgiving Monday. Some even celebrated the Game 4 victory by casting a ballot in the federal election afterward.

And although the American League East division champions had a rocky start to the best-of-five series, fans refused to count their team out. Tweets of support and #WeAreBehindYou began trending on Twitter before Game 3 and Game 4.

The Game 5 winnermoves on to the best-of-seven American League Championship Seriesand it's clear that after two big wins, the Jays' fans expect to see their team there.

Andthough of the47times teams have fallen behind 2-0 in the ALDSonly five have managed to come out on top,the late Yogi Berra had some sound advice on adversity and baseball, a mantra that Blue Jays fans will keep repeating.
