Christmas tree left at Vaughan crash site to honour 3 kids, grandfather

Jennifer Neville-Lake was touched to find a "beautiful" Christmas tree set up at the site of the crash that killed her three young children and father.

Jennifer Neville-Lake was touched to find a "beautiful" Christmas tree set up at the site of the crash that left her three young children and father dead.

"We went to the crash site today and found this beautiful Christmas tree," she wrote on a Facebook pageSunday. "Thank you for thinking of our family."

Daniel Neville-Lake, 9, his brother Harrison, 5, their sisterMilly, 2, andtheir 65-year-old grandfather Gary Neville died after the van they were travelling in was T-bonedat the intersection of Kirby Road and Kipling Avenue, north of Kleinburg.

Marco Muzzo, 29, of King Township,has been charged with four counts of impaired driving causing death and 14 other charges in relation to the crash. He is scheduled to be back in court on Thursday.

Jennifer Neville-Lake also left agingerbread house-shaped plant pot at the graves of her children and father.

"The kids loved to make gingerbread houses. So we decided to bring them one," she wrote on her Facebook page.

She said her children's friends and her co-workers also presented flowers.

Last week, the mother set up a Christmas tree for her children and father at the cemetery.

"We put up a Christmas tree there, because we can't bear to have one at home right now," she said at the time.

Each is honoured with an ornament a Stormtrooper for Daniel, Rapunzel for Harry, Anna from Frozen for Milly and Superman for their grandfather.
