Why didDwyane Wade notstand on guard during O Canadaon Saturday?

It's a question plaguing Toronto Raptors fans as their teamgets set to take on the Heat inGame 4 of the second round of the NBA playoffs tonight.

Some Canadian fans at Jurassic Park outside the Air Canada Centre said theyfound it disrespectful that the Heat's shooting guard, Wade, continuedto make baskets while his team stood for the Canadian national anthem before Game 3 on Saturday.

"He should have stood there like everybody else did and waited for the national anthem to finish and start practising again," saidToronto Raptors fanJessica Charles.

"I mean the whole Raptors lineup, they stood and they were respectful for the American anthem," JustinGallowsaid."Why shouldn't Dwyane Wade do the same for the Canadian?"

On Sunday, Wade defended his actions.

"I'm not a disrespectful person," Wade said. "So if anybody thinks I'm being disrespectful to a country, then they don't know who Dwyane Wade is."

Wade added he wouldadjust his pre-game ritual.
