Experience the incredible heat of Chongqing at U-Noodles

U-Noodles is a new restaurant on Wyandotte Street West, a few blocks away from the University of Windsor.It opened two months ago.

While most Chinese restaurants in Windsor serve dishes from all over China, U-Noodlesspecializes in food fromChongqing, a major Chinese city known for its fiery dishes.

Owner Yang "Yoyo" Zhouis from a part of Chongqing called Xiushan.At U-Noodles, Yoyo serves up Chongqing classics, as well as dishes you can only find in Xiushan.

As you might expect from the name, noodles are the main focus. Depending on the dish, Yoyo uses noodles made from wheat, rice or sweet potato.

I have a pretty high threshold for spice, so Iordered the hot and spicy noodles, a simple dish topped with peanuts, sesame seeds, green onions and cilantro.

Take a look at that deep red broth. It's asspicy at it looks maybe even more so.
