Man, 91, charged with attempted murder in intimate partner violence case: OPP

A 91-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in what police say was a case of domestic abuse.

OPP say just before 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, officers and EMS came to a house in Leamingtonin response toa report of intimate partner violence.

The victim and the accusedwere sent to hospital with what police say were non-life-threatening injuries.

Police haven't disclosed any information about the victim, other than to say the victim and the accused knew each other.

The 91-year-old, who is from Leamington, was charged with attempted murder and held pending a bail hearing.
