Pack of aggressive coyotes found in London, Ont.

Police say they discovered about five or six coyotes wandering around an area located northwest of Richmond Street and Western Road.

A pack of aggressive coyotes have been found near a wooded area in London, Ont.

Police say they discovered about five or six coyotes wandering around an area located northwest of Richmond Street and Western Road.

Officers went to the area after receiving several reports from the public. Police were then directed to a walking path along the river where they found the animals that are described as having white and grey fur weighing about 20 kilograms.

"The animals presented themselvesin an aggressive manner and did not appear to be afraid of humans," according to the police news release.

Animal control officers have been alerted to the coyotes as well. Police urge the public to be on the look out for similar animal activity.
