Parking on your front lawn in Windsor now comes with a $25 fine.

City council passed a by-law banning parking on front lawns, city boulevards and side lawns in December, and announced a grace period had come to an end Tuesday.

Parking enforcement officials crossed the entire city during the month of February and handed out 242 warning letters and four tickets to "repeat offenders," according to a media release from the city.
