Medovniky, or Slovakian honey cookies, are a popular Christmas treat in Slovakia and other European countries. Mili's Bakery in Kingsville, Ont., makes intricately decorated versions that also double as holiday decorations.

This Christmas, consider feasting on medovniky.

Also known as honey cookies, medovniky are a popular treat in Slovakia and other European nations during the Christmas season.

In Windsor-Essex, you can purchase them from anew business in Kingsville called Mili's Bakery.

In addition to being tasty, themedovnikyfrom Mili's are also incredibly beautiful. Each cookie takes 15-30 minutes to decorate. They start at $3.

The first is to find her at the Kingsville Farmers Market this Saturday, December 19th.It takes place at the Lions Community Hall (23 Mill St. West) inKingsville from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m.
