Windsor man charged in Highway 401 rollover near Chatham

The 22-year-old was driving west on the highway near Duart Road on Wednesday around 7:15 p.m. when the car he was driving left the road, crossed the centre median and ended up on its roof in the eastbound lanes.

Both the driver and passenger were treated for minor injuries

A Windsor man has been charged with careless driving after losing control of his vehicle and crashingon Highway 401 near Chatham-Kent.

The 22-year-old was driving west on the highway near Duart Road on Wednesday around 7:15 p.m. when the car he was driving left the road, crossed thecentre median and ended up on its roof in the eastbound lanes, according to provincial police.

Both the driver and passenger were transported to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
