Windsor reviewing bylaws, looking to regulate Uber

The City of Windsor is surveying its residents about the state of public transportation in the city and how to best regulate ridesharing services like Uber.

The City of Windsor is surveying its residents about the state of public transportation in the city and how to best regulateridesharing services like Uber.

It's already contracted a consultantcalledTaxi Research Partners to look at its current bylaws regulating the taxicab industry.

Part of the latest survey's goal is to see what Windsor residents think about the controversial ridesharing company, the city said in a media release.

It will also ask residents about how often they use taxis, limousines, trains and buses.

To take the survey for yourself, the city has an on-line survey available.
