Teen pop superstar Justin Bieber will get his own comic book biography this fall.

32-page life story of teen singer out in October

It's a banner week for pop superstar Justin Bieber, who just took the record for most-watched video on YouTube with his hit Baby and is now gettinghis ownbiography.

Bluewater Productions announced it will create a comic book biography of the 16-year-old performer from Stratford, Ont., chronicling his meteoric rise in the music world.

The Vancouver-based publisher said Friday the 32-page Fame: Justin Bieber comic will be released in October.

"His career so far is so unique because of YouTube and Facebook," Bluewater president Darren G. Davis told Comic Riffs, a blog devoted to comic fans.

"I was posting on Facebook about the comic book and Bieber has more fan sites than anyone and most have over 5,000 people in them. Technology is changing the way we create our idols."

Bluewater's Fame series targets tweens.

Writer Tara Broeckel Ooten, who worked on the Bieberbook, said she believes the teen has the chops for a long career.

"I'm reminded of the stories my mom tells about when she was young and Beatlemania invaded the United States. For me it was New Kids on the Block," Broeckel Ooten said in a statement on the company's website.

"He has such an enormous global fan base. That and his talent will probably give him some real staying power in the industry."

The company has also done the same graphic treatment of pop culture figures including Robert Pattinson, David Beckham, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga whose YouTube record was surpassed by Bieber this week.

As of Friday afternoon, Bieber surpassed Gaga's Bad Romance video by 600,000 views.
