Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has agreed to a six-part series on the Oprah Winfrey Network in which she will focus on her personal struggles.

OWN announced the series Finding Sarah on Friday, saying Ferguson will "explore her lifelong battles with weight, relationships and finances."

Ferguson confided in Winfrey earlier this year, during an interview in which she discussed why she had been caught trying to sell access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for more than $700,000.

The scandal-scarred duchess will meet regularly with some of Winfrey's experts, including Dr. Phil McGraw, Suze Orman and Martha Beck.

"I'm doing this because I need to heal my mind, body and spirit," Ferguson said in a statement. "After 22 years of raising my two amazing daughters, it's time for me to mother myself. My hope is that sharing my journey will help someone else."

The show will launch in early 2011 on Winfrey's cable network.
