NFB film tracks 'radical' homelessness project

The National Film Board has released an interactive documentary-in-progress thattracks a "radical" housing project for homeless people.

Here at Home aims to make homeless individuals more visible byisolating their compelling and often surprising stories in a constellation of short films. Itfollows participants in the At Home study in Moncton, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver who are first given astable home, and then treatment.

Manfred Becker, one of thefilmmakers working on the documentary, spoke on the intersection between homelessness and mental health issues on CBC radio's Metro Morning.
